We have chosen the title of "My Animal Healing Practitioner" for the new magazine of the Verband Deutscher Tierheilpraktiker eV (VDT), with more than 2600 members the largest professional association for veterinary practitioners, and the German Paracelsus Schools, for more than 43 years the leading training institute for non-medical practitioners, non-medical practitioners for psychotherapy and veterinary practitioners with 54 schools and academies in Germany alone, with 14 major vocational training and over 11,000 seminars annually.

"My Animal Healing Practitioner" brings professional information for the veterinary practitioners and veterinary practitioners in training, but should also educate the animal-loving public, animal friends and pet owners on the benefits and alternative possibilities of as close to nature, appropriate welfare and treatment for the animals in our care, in the Small animals as in livestock farming.

Our magazine is already in the title choice expression of the self-confidence of our profession: veterinarians know the species-specific needs of animals, care, treat and cure with well-tried, mild, harmless and above all species-appropriate methods and means. You see and treat - as the alternative practitioner in human medicine - the living entity holistically in the body / mind / soul / environment context. Not the symptoms, but the often complex causes of disorders and diseases should be recognized, avoided or eliminated.

Nature-oriented veterinary medicine is one of the most beautiful, interesting and rewarding tasks for animal-loving people, with daily new challenges, adventures and insights into the often amazing effects of naturopathy in animal welfare practice. And the sooner and more intensively the pet owners and animal lovers become acquainted with our way of thinking and our methods, the more we can work together, whereby "collectively" includes the veterinarians, with whom we wish an ever better and trusting cooperation.
